Difficulty paying attention, staying organized, making decisions and keeping relationships are all manifestations of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). You find it impossible to concentrate and frequently feel restless, bored or irritable. You can’t seem to finish what you start. You answer questions before they’re asked, impatient for the person speaking to just get to the point. Your desk is a mess, and you may feel your life is as well.

In children, these same behaviors may result in poor performance in school, conflict with teachers or peers, or power struggles with parents. No matter what you do as a parent, you may feel frustrated and discouraged; your child can seem out of control and unmanageable. Relationships in your family may suffer as one child demands more and more of your attention.

Untreated, ADD (or ADHD, with hyperactivity), can wreak havoc in your personal and professional life.
